Ruth Walton was born into a fundamentalist evangelical family, has studied the Bible since childhood, and continues to do so. She earned a BA at Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MPA from Rutgers University. She was the Director of Career of Services at Stevens Institute of Technology before leaving to raise her children. After several years as a stay-at-home mom, Ruth worked as a human resource and finance consultant. She then taught and managed the career office at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR, which allowed her to utilize her professional skills in a faith-based environment. Ruth’s personal and professional experiences have helped form her belief that positive relationships are the key to success in the workplace and happiness in one’s personal life. Ruth has two young adult sons. One on the West Coast and the other on the East. She now sees scripture through a totally different lens that marries logic and faith.
